What is a screen

A fine mesh is stretched onto a frame, it is then coated with an emulsion, the artwork is exposed to the underside, after a series of wash outs it is ready for printing.

Spot Colour on white

This is the most popular print process using basic print colour from 1-12 colours.

Spot colour on darks

This is exactly as printed on white but with a white base covering the whole artwork, and then heat flash, so white is dry ready for top colours to be printed.

Process Printing on White

The artwork is separated into the 4 colours, black, process yellow, cyan & magenta to give the full picture image. In most cases an additional colour’s may be required for exact pantone colours.

Process printing on darks

Artwork is separated up to a maximum of 12 spot colours and printed together to give a picture effect. A base white is always required for this process.

Glitter print

This is special ink that includes particles of glitter mixed with ink. Only available in certain colours.

Glitter Dunk print

This is a process were an adhesive is printed onto the shirt and prior to the drying process is dunked into glitter particles.

Print & Embroidery

A simple process of combining screen printing with embroidery.

Discharge printing

This is a process using water based ink’s and a chemical additive to bleach out the dye in the garment.

Leather print

Basic screen printing with an additive to give a leather effect. Artwork design plays a major role in the overall effect of finished print.

Suede print

Exactly as above.

Expantex prints

Exactly as standard printing with an additive to one colour, which raises once shirt, enters the dryer.
