About Cookies and the way we use them
A cookie is a small file that a Website puts on your hard drive so that it can remember something about you at a later time. Our online ordering system uses a cookie to record a unique reference on your computer so that we can keep track of your order and retain the contents in your shopping basket.
We want you to feel completely at ease doing business with us over the Internet. We know that security is a major concern to many of our customers and have therefore put a system in place that is far safer than giving your card to a waiter in a restaurant.
When you’ve finished shopping and begin the checkout process you will move into the secure area of our site. A warning window may pop up to notify you that you are entering this “safe” area. Once you’ve entered, the page address (URL) will change from “http” to “https” to let you know you are in a secure area. Also, a key or a closed lock will appear in the lower left hand corner of your screen to notify you of this change. You will remain in this secure zone for the entire checkout process.
We do not hold or store any credit card details or financial information. This does mean that you will need to repeat your credit card details for every order – a minor inconvenience – but one that makes it totally safe to order online with FANELA.
Our Customer Services are open:
8.45am – 6pm (GMT) Monday – Friday
Outside these hours please leave a message after the recording or email us and we will get back to you.
Our products are manufactured worldwide by leading brands. We place our business through professional companies who must comply with the rigorous FANELA ‘code of conduct’. This means that they must maintain high working standards in factories and agree to enforce child labour laws amongst other things. We regularly visit and assess factories with our suppliers to ensure the code of conduct is implemented. We have established strong working relationships and together we look to maintain these standards.
FANELA will continue to develop monitoring systems to assess and ensure compliance. If we determine that any factory has violated this code, we may either terminate our business relationship or require the factory to implement a corrective action plan. If corrective action is advised but not taken, FANELA will suspend placement of future orders and may terminate current production.
We hope that you will be delighted with your FANELA goods. If, for any reason you wish to return an item it must be unused and in existing packaging. Claims must be notified within 7 working days of purchase. We shall be given all reasonable opportunities to inspect such goods. We reserve the right to replace the goods or issue a credit note. We do not refund postal and packaging charges. Every care has been taken to ensure that the description and specification are correct at the time of going to press. While the colour and size reproduction is a close representation, a slight variation in the actual goods may occur. We reserve the right to review our prices at any time. Euro & Dollar prices may fluctuate.
